Reviews for Apex-Remediated Documents

Once documents return from Apex, they need to be reviewed by each department to see if they are ready to be replaced on the website.  The web team (Kristina England and Tracy Axelson) are going to be doing the actual replacements of files on the website. This review will help prepare for that replacement and make sure that there are no delays when going through that process.

The inventory of documents in A&F (from the website) was done at least 8 months ago so we are finding that, in some cases, there are issues that will prevent the file from just being replaced on the site:

  • Pages of the website have changed in the interim and the document we are going to be replacing may have been updated and thus needs to be remediated again.
  • The page it was linked on has moved or been removed from the site.
  • The program or software that is referenced in the document may have changed or been discontinued
  • The document may have old logos (which Communications wants to make sure gets updated) or screenshots that need to be updated.
  • Links in the document may be broken.

Each department A&F department has a page to use for reviewing the docs after they are returned from Apex.

Use the Edit link for each document to go into the form and answer questions for each document.  If the document is truly ready for replacement, there is a checkbox to indicate that it's ready to go.  The web team will be watching for change in status daily and will do the replacements as they have time.

Once a document is replaced, it will be removed from your view so you can just deal with those that are still pending.
